London, June 3 – Transparency International UK welcomes the conclusion of an extensive independent review into allegations of ethical misconduct at the Berlin-based Transparency International Secretariat.

Transparency International UK is the independent British chapter of the federal, non-hierarchical Transparency International movement. The matters under review in Germany related exclusively to the affairs of the Berlin secretariat and have no connection with the affairs of Transparency International UK.

Transparency International UK is a registered charity in England and Wales, independently governed by a Board of Trustees with its own Chief Executive and Senior Management Team.

We welcome the adoption of the independent review recommendations by the leadership of the international secretariat in order to support the global fight against corruption, with many other TI chapters, now and in the future.
